Student Disability Services–with the support of IT–provides specialized software for students with documented disabilities.

• Dragon Naturally Speaking – available on dedicated workstations in the library or an arrangement could be made to install on a workstation in your program lounge/student space at the GC.
• Otter.ai – web-based transcription application. Limited accounts available to everyone for free. (As of Fall 2025, CUNY no longer supports Otter.ai.)
• Genio – web-based note-taking tool. Transcription is a recently added feature.
• Zoom – CUNY Zoom features automated captioning.
